When we had founded Friends69 in 2000, it seems that hardly anyone accessed our site with a cell phone. That changed over the years and we found out that it doesn't work and is very inconvenient for users.
We tried a lot, some programmers tried their hand at it. Many years of searching and trying brought me to the conclusion, the old snot must go and something completely new, more modern must hehr. So the search for a programmer started again. Since our budget is very limited, it took 4 years until the new software was ready.
At the end of 2021 it was ready. After countless tests, we replaced the old software with the new one. The migration of the database took over 12 hours. Then everything went very quickly. Suddenly the first user online. Then the next. We now see that our site is eagerly used with mobile phones. Great!!! After so many years, finally a sense of achievement.
Sure, not everything is perfect yet. We are working on it every day. Also reviving new (and also old) features.
